Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.
Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

What are your Christmas day plans?

Owner of An Island Life and Family Review Network. Wife, mother, and flight attendant . . . living a blessed life in Hawaii. |
Spending time with my husband and kids, then getting everything ready for a big Christmas dinner with friends who are also “stranded” in our town.
Because our youngest son is working Christmas Day…we’ll be celebrating with a late dinner on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day we’ll go to our oldest sons house for brunch and to see what Santa has brought our grandchildren.

Quiet day at home for us. If everyone is healthy, hopefully our traditional Chinese food dinner out and perhaps off to see Tangeled.

We’ll wake up and let the kids have their stockings (even though they’re not little kids anymore), then we’ll open presents. Then we go to my husband’s parents’ house for breakfast. It’s a tradition that my father-in-law cooks on Christmas morning. There will be a few more gifts, then home to play!

Opening gift in the morning, playing games with the family during the day with snacks, then a wonderful Christmas dinner with the kids and grand-kids. Still no snow here so no sledding or making snowmen.

Tonight will be the big night attending church together and our annual pizza for Christmas eve spending time with each other not a lot going on this year it seems as if this year those that made the plans in previous years are either not with us anymore or have moved away for school, work or other purposes
Our family, (hubby and 2 sons, and me) will be having Christmas dinner with my Mom and Sister at the Assisted Living Home where they live and then will have Christmas Supper with the in-laws. Will then be rolled back (from eating so much) to our house to open presents.
We’ll be opening all our presents tonight, but tomorrow morning there will be Santa Gifts to open bright and early. Then we’ll just have a relaxing day playing with new toys and I’ll be cooking a huge ham dinner for us and some friends.

Just cooking a nice meal, enjoying our family and opening presents.
We are trying to go and help feed 600 families at a local high school near my parents house. We found out last minute so the people we know who are already signed up are going to be asking today when they are there to help prepare the meal.

I work in the morning and then I plan to cook and relax with the family and enjoy some down time. Will probably watcha movie and play call of duty on xbox360.
Stress free relaxing at home.
I am going to be visiting my mother, my grandmother, my ex-husband (with my current husband) and will try desperately to avoid the mad crowds at the stores regardless of my shopping addiction. Oh, and then the day after Christmas I will be rescuing my step-children from their mother (who seriously is related to the Wicked Witch) and will give them their presents since she said she can’t afford to this year. Guess she spent all her money at the bars. Happy holidays!

Just my husband and I for Christmas Day! Tonite is his family and Sunday is mine and everyone at my house which will be about 25 people. Oh Joy! Merry Christmas from my home to yours.

Tonight (Christmas Eve) we spent at our favorite Irish Pub having a glass of wine with some friends and drank our toast to our dear friends Butch & Phyllis (like we always do on Christmas Eve) from Connecticut because we used to spend every Christmas Eve with them and we really miss them.
Tomorrow we will spend the time together, just Bill, me and the doggies. I am making a special dinner of boneless ribeye – something we generally don’t have because of the expense – twice baked potatoes and Bill’s favorite: green beans. Then we will just spend the day together watching football.
