Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

My question/statement is . . .

Thanksgiving is a time for . . .

Serenity. I love that everyone has to stop working and stressing. We all (as in entire families coming together) sit around the table, laugh, and enjoy each other.

Being Thankful of course, however I always used it as a time to really enforce ‘thankfulness’ and the value of ‘family time’ to my children and the children that were in my daycare for 10 years! Such a great opportunity!

Great question!! Put me in the mood!! :-)

me to work my butt off in the kitchen and have an overflowing house full of people. Oh wait, you didn’t want a sarcastic answer, did you?

Honestly, Thanksgiving is a time for families to be together and every year I really reflect on my own little family and thanks God for them. I wouldn’t be me without them and I love them more than life itself.

    ….. FOOTBALL!!
Hate to say it, but with our family so spread out and everyone having to work, we usually can’t get together on Thanksgiving. So we usually all eat small meals and watch football. However, we all end up calling each other. Now I LOVE having the iPhone4 because of the FaceTime calls – I can actually SEE my grandson on Thanksgiving.

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
