Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

Don’t think that I really have anything that special. I like the number 18, and it is special in judaism. When in college I had a comfy sweatshirt that I liked to wear for exams.

Ooops, forgot the rest of the question. Purple all shades, and I’m assuming you mean anything else that’s lucky. I use to have a lucky top I use to wear a lot when I was in my husband’s band. It just made me comfortable enough to go up on stages when the audience is large. It was black, silver, and gold sequins.

Lucky number 7 for me and lucky number 13 for hubby. We are drawn to odd numbers. If we go to the horse races, we only bet on the odd numbered races and always on a horse wearing an odd number. All of us were born on odd numbered days and we got married on 11/17 in an odd numbered year. It’s weird but it works for us!

I don’t know if it’s lucky, but I always seem to look at the clock at 9:06 (my birthday) and 10:11 (my sisters birthday). It’s really weird!

No lucky # but I like the color GREEN.
Well, though I don’t really believe in luck (I believe in providence…that what seems like chance is really the hand of God), I did have a lucky number when I was a kid, and believe it or not it’s the number 13. I collected buttons then, and on Friday the 13th I visited an antique shop with my mom and found some pretty hand painted flowered buttons and asked how much they were. “Free” the owner said. We went to the next store over (also an antique store), and there were pretty buttons there too (sparkley fake diamond ones)…so I asked how much they were, and she said “You can have them.” So I decided that 13 was not an unlucky number. (Oh, and did you know that Corinthians 13, the chapter in the Bible about love, is 13 lines long…kinda cool). So, I still like that number…but don’t believe in luck.

Hmm, that’s a good one.. I’m not sure if I have a lucky anything!! Something along those lines though would be that I always have to have the radio volume in the car to an odd number. A superstition of sorts, I suppose! Happy Friday
