Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

My question is:

I’m planning on seeing a Broadway show with Cathi & Debra while in NYC.
Which show would you recommend?

My husband and I saw Little Mermaid a few years ago and that was great. I am itching to see Wicked too.

There are so many amazing plays, any would be fabulous. We live so close to NYC, yet I have never seen a play there. Enjoy!

Actually, I have seen a few in my time, and I loved them all, but there was one special one that I went to see with my Godmother & my mother at the Shubert Theater many years ago, and naturally it’s my favorite “HELLO DOLLY”. How colorful and the songs great! Carol Channing played Dolly.

I saw CATS and it was pretty good, but I was 17 at the time and I haven’t been back to NYC since. Hair Spray would be awesome too – I love that story! I have no idea whats current though. Its a ton of fun to see a live show, enjoy it!

I’m dying to see Rock of Ages. I haven’t asked hubby yet but I might have to see if a friend would be willing to go with me instead. He’s not a musical kind of guy. It’s sad, being that we live so close to the city but I’ve only ever seen Rent!

I would see The Little Mermaid or Mary Poppins since I’ve wanted to see one of those for the longest time. The Lion King, Wicked, and Legally Blonde are a few that I have seen and absolutely loved.
Have a great time! I’m so jealous that you get to see a play on Broadway! :)
