Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.
Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
My question is:
What’s your favorite theme park/carnival ride?
We’re headed to Disneyland this weekend and I can’t wait to ride Splash Mountain!

I love the ferris wheel because we can all go on together and there are no height requirements.

My favorite classic ride is the Scrambler. At Disney World Big Thunder Mountain at The Magic Kingdom.

We’re big Disneyland fans. My favorite ride would have to be rides with an s. We always have to ride Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, Soaring Over California and Small World. But I am and always will be a Merry Go Round fan!

I love ferris wheels and carousels! I also love Its a Small World at Disneyworld!!! Aloha
I used to love all the rides as a kid, but the older I get, the sicker they make me.
Motion sickness is horrible! I think my favorite ride(s) are any of the old-school wooden roller-coasters. They are becoming harder and harder to find these days, but there’s just something about the clicking and clanking of the tracks that I just love.

I like gentler rides like merry-go-rounds. But I bravely went on a tremors roller coaster at Silverwood at 1am as part of a long distance relay race last summer.

That sounds like so much fun, I love Space Mountain. I love just about any roller coasters, I love the old wooden ones, rickity and scary, I also love the new ones that let you hang feet!

Definitely the roller coaster! I love the fast twist and turns but mostly the anticipation as you climb a big hill!

I use to love going to Opryland (before they tore it down and built a mall). My favorite ride was called Chaos. It was an indoor rollercoaster. It was the only rollercoaster I would dare ride.

I’m a scaredy cat when it comes to amusement parks. I love to take my nieces, nephews and god kids but rarely get on rides unless I’m at Disney Land or a Water Park. If I had to choose I’d go with Bigfoot Rapids at Knott’s Berry Farm.

I am not a thrillseeker, so my favourite ride is the ferris wheel. I can eat all the corndogs and mini doughnuts I want without fear of losing aforementioned yummy nosh on unsuspecting passersby.

Roller Coasters. The bigger, the better. Try Cedar Point someday. Has some of the highest rate coasters in the world!

Disney World- lots of good memories growing up. Haunted Mansion is my favorite, I like the old version before Eddie Murphy made a movie of it. Pirates of the Carribean is good too, Johnny Depp made it better.

I love, love, love Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point… It was the BEST roller coaster ever, totally worth the three hour wait!

My favorite theme park is Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL!! I love, love, love the Montu. It is a an awesome roller coaster that your legs free float. I wish it went longer than 60 seconds. Thankfully I live in Florida so I’ve been quite a few times in my life.

I don’t do roller coasters except for the very tame ones. I do like the log flume rides and the spinning stuff like the big swings and the Spider and Catapult at Busch Gardens, VA. It’s been so long since I’ve been to any other theme park I don’t remember the other rides.

I love the buzz Lightyear ride at Disney
When we went to the one in Tokyo, we arrived at 10am and already the first fast pass was at 7 that night!

I liked the Himalaya (not sure on the spelling) or the Gravitron…

Wow great question! We use to have Six Flags Astroworld here but it’s gone. Now we are at the mercy of Kemah Boardwalk. I would have to say my favorite is Pharaoh’s Fury. It’s like a giant swing that goes back and forth. I love it.
