Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

My question is:

If you could compete in a Winter Olympic sport (and be good at it), which would it be?

So this week I did it right and came up with my own question… and you more or less came up with the same one!!! There’s a different twist to mine, though :)

Sport I could DO? And Winter Olympics only, I see… I’d say skiing! It would make DH happy.

My first instinct is to go with figure skating, but I have to agree that the curling looks interesting. Funny, hubbie really wants to get into it now, but I don’t think there is any place around here to try it out. Anyone tried it??

I don’t know – I always would have said figure skating before, but I was having a lot of fun watching the snowboard halfpipe last night too, so maybe that would be it. Actually, I’d love to just be that good at anything. :)

  28. 28

I think snowboarding would be fun to be great at. Too bad I’m not naturally coordinated enough for that. lol :)

To be that good to compete in the olympics….I would have to pick downhill skiing. I always wished I could try skiing but due to physical issues couldn’t. My son skis and tells me how great it is..matter of fact…he is going tomorrow.
