Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
My question is:
If you were a teacher, what subject would you teach?

Wow, that’s a tough one-I guess it would depend on whom I was teaching! If it were little kids ages 6 and under, it would probably be art. If it were middle school aged I would teach Math. If it were high school, I would probably go with a foreign language if I new one. LOL I couldn’t possibly pick for college students cause I would love to do anything and everything
I’d teach Art!
Night Owl mama´s last blog ..Dove Men + Care Celebrate The Unsung Moments "Manthem"
When I was a kid, I thought about being an elementary school teacher, but if I had to pick just one subject it would probably be history. I think I’d prefer being a school librarian over teaching though.
Great question for Teacher’s Day! My friends usually come to me for computer related concerns so maybe something close to that.

The only subject I could imagine teaching would be art. This is partly because it would be the only thing I was qualified enough to tech but also because it was by far my favorite subject. I felt like it was the only lesson in which I could be truly creative as there was no one, right answer, like with other subjects.

i think – geometry or any computer subject.
geometry has always been my favorite subject. and i think it will be easier for me to teach that subject. computer – well it’s my background…
This one is hard…I would have to say either a science associated with Nursing or if it was from grades 2-12 English with emphasis on reading. My favorite teacher, many, many years ago, was my 11th grade English teacher, Mr. Baxter. The assingment for that year was to read a book every 2 weeks with a book report for every book. I remember kids complaining about having him whereas I was extremely happy….got an A !!!!
My ? is here
Chemistry probably. I always was a bit of a science geek. Of course my degree is in nutrition so health would probably be a good choice too.

I AM a teacher and I teach elementary students! For a few years, I taught third grade and now I’m a Math Specialist, but I love to say I teach KIDS, not just the subject of MATH, because in order to teach, you have to know the whole child and engage them. I’m so excited to help students, especially young girls, to LOVE Math!
