Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My question is:
Toilet paper dispenser . . . over or under?

Neither, ours is on front of the toilet.

Before getting married I preferred under. Since I told hubby he had to put the seat down, I now put the TP on over.

If you’re standing by the toilet and need some toilet paper, you need to bend down to get it if it is under. Over means less bending. Sitting down, it doesn’t matter as much. This is why I prefer it over the roll.

Either is fine with me. Living in a house with DH and three teen boys I am just thrilled if someone besides me replaces the toilet paper.

Over and I’ve been know to “fix” it elsewhere when it’s “wrong”.
hmm, ah yes the old toilet paper debate. Since all our holders are broken or missing in our house, I would be happy if it were attached to the wall. I guess I should take care of that.

I actually don’t pay attention – but I do know that whenever I put it on my husband changes it. I think he likes over….I am not sure. I really should pay more attention

Definitely over. I’m so obsessive about it that my hubby won’t even put the new roll on anymore. He leaves on the counter and I have to put it on. It’s ok though because then I know it will be put on properly – with the paper going over.

It definitely depends on the bathroom and location of the dispenser. Our last apt. it had to be under and this one it has to be over! You have to do the ‘in the middle of the night with no lights on’ test to determine what is easier, haha!
