Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

The first always has to be gmail.
The second always has to be my blog, Simply Cathi.
The third is An Island Life.
From there it’s FB and other things.
They have to be in that order though or
I have to close them and start over. LOL!!

Like everyone else – check my email – initial glance to see if I won anything or to see if someone commented on my blog. Then Facebook, then google reader.

I check my email and go through the messages deleting what I don’t want. Then go back and approve blog comments, click on mypoints mail and bookmark homeschooling sites I want to investigate further, then leave blog comments. I try to get through as much as I can before the kids wake up.

That depends-Most of the time I give it a good cleaning, make sure my iTunes is the first program on the bottom bar(I’m OCD like that) then log into yahoo to check my mail.

I check the weather forecast first. Then my email, then the news, then Facebook. If I don’t do it in that order, I’ll never get off of FB long enough to check everything else!
I usually go straight to Facebook. I teach Bible studies to MOMS and Facebook has allowed me to stay connected with MOMS from all other the world!! So I love to read what is going on in their lives. As a mom of adult children, it keeps me “in tune” with the struggles, the successes, the fears, and the hopes of moms who are still in the trenches.
I am very late signing in, but . . . what can I say-life just keeps happening!

I’m late because I read your blog in a feedreader . . .
I don’t “log on” to my desktop. It is always on. (Is that sad?) I record tv programs on it, so it has to stay on at all times. I do log onto my laptops, of course, because they are turned off and stored in my briefcases when I’m not using them.
The first thing I usually do when I sit down in front of any computer is read emails, both personal and professional. The next thing I do depends on what I’m interested in at the moment. I might check to make sure a tv program recorded if I am anxious to watch it, read the local newspaper online, or read what’s happening with my friends on Facebook.
