Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

So far it’s been the DK Letter Sounds Phonics Matching Game. It’s fun and they really enjoy it, but I can’t wait until they are a little older so we can play more games. I loved the classics as a kid…Clue, Monopoly, Life, etc.

My family has a long history of playing Cribbage. My husband and I play every weekend and have a Spring/Summer and a Fall/Winter tournament. I skunked him FOUR times during the last tournament(for those who play)!

It’s hard to say – we don’t play a lot of ‘board’ games per se. The girls love to play dominoes, and a lot of card games – like Set, Apples to Apples Jr., Go Fish, and I really need to teach them Uno. Becca likes Dora CandyLand though.

The Hubs is not really into board games, but I can occasionally get him to play Scrabble with me. The kids used to like to play Monopoly with me, and still will when they visit. My step-son and DIL and I have played “Jello-Shot-Trivial Persuit” which gets funnier and funnier as you play… because you drink, or is it eat, a Jello-shot when you get a question wrong. Definitely an ADULT board game.
