Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My question is:
If you could do or have one thing to make your life easier, what would it be?
For me, I think I’d have someone come in and clean my home once a week. With my girls around, it probably wouldn’t last for very long but it sure would be nice.

I would hire a maid to clean my house.

I totally agree with the cleaning help. I had someone once, but when I quit work, we decided I could do it. With 3 boys! Not likely!

Someone to cook and clean in my house would be fantastic! I am having trouble finding time to do everything I need to with 5 kids, school and just life in general.

Clone myself 5 times. One of me for each of my kids, mu husband, and friends.

I’d say a laptop? I’m really not sure. Oh wait. I know. If my husband really shared in being involved and helping with the daily stuff that happens in our home , especially on the days when he is off or I’m just drowning in frustration. Like say, changing a diaper? putting the dishes in the dishwasher, or just doing the bedtime routine. Not all the time, but once a week aor so would be great.

I’d find a way to earn money while staying home with my children. That would ease our financial worries considerably!

I would have a gigantic wad of money tucked away – enough to comfortably live on. That way, even though my husband would prefer to work, we would already have enough tucked away for the kids’ college funds, and I could hire a housekeeper to help me out, guilt free!

I’d have to agree with you and say a housekeeper. We talked about getting one before my twins were born but then opted for a yard maintenence service instead (with the understanding that Hubs would help out more with housework). I like the yard service, but at this stage I think I’d like BOTH! lol

Oh I know the answer to this one right off – a personal chef. With some new challenges in the meal prep for my family, this would be a dream for me!

A housekeeper/maid would make my life so much easier! We just can’t afford it right now. Problem is, I live in an area where almost everyone else hires someone to clean their house.

Hmmm living on the island of Oahu…I think I wish for a road, but not just any road. It has to be one that connects all the islands together. That way i would be able to get in my car and simply drive to the MauiTweetup this afternoon at 3p. I miss Maui and the great folks there!
