Congratulations!
We’re always on the lookout for great children’s book and definitely found one in Loukoumi’s Good Deeds by Nick Katsoris.
BOOK DESCRIPTION
Loukoumi, the fluffy, cuddly lamb, returns this spring with Loukoumi’s Good Deeds (Dream Day Press/NK Publications; April 1, 2009; $15.95), the third title in the award winning series of illustrated books by Nick Katsoris. Featuring a bonus CD narrated by Jennifer Aniston and her father Days of Our Lives star John Aniston, the new book follows Loukoumi through her day as she discovers how easy it is to make other people happy by doing something nice.
MY REVIEW
Loukoumi’s Good Deeds is aimed at children 4 yrs to 8 yrs and Girlie Girl loved it! This books shows kids all the wonderful things they can do for the loved ones in their life to show how much they care. I especially liked that some of the suggestions were just simple words of affection - like telling your grandparents that you love them.
This book was easy to read and the illustrations were bright and colorful. They used the perfect vocabulary for this age range and Girlie Girl was able to read the entire book by herself. What a sense of accomplishment for her!
As a bonus, you also get a CD narrated by Jennifer Aniston and her father John Aniston. It’s a great addition to the book and helps the characters come to live as you listen to the engaging and animated voices. It’s a great boof for every family’s library!
And when you purchase your copy, $2.00 from the sale of each book will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!
