Congratulations!
I knew I had a lot of photos on my laptop but I didn’t realize just how many! I found out that my precious pictures are taking up 5.6 GB of my hard drive! To make matters worse, I don’t have them backed-up on a disk. I guess it just seems like such a hassle and all my other blogging duties always takes precedence. However, in the back of my mind I know that if anything happened to my hard drive I would be devastated to lose these memories. So when I had the opportunity to review Picture Keeper, I jumped at the chance.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Picture Keeper USB flash drive creates a backup of images simply by plugging it into a computer and clicking the “Start Backup” button. The device automatically finds and copies all images with jpeg/jpg extensions on the computer. Folders and subfolders are copied just as they are on the computer, making it easy to find files once they’ve been copied onto the Picture Keeper. Updating a backup is just as easy, because Picture Keeper only adds images that aren’t already on the backup.
MY REVIEW
This has got to be the easiest way to keep your photos safe and sound. There were no downloads, no registrations, no passwords. I just plugged the Picture Keeper into the USB port and clicked a button. Picture Keeper did the rest.
What I liked best about Picture Keeper is that when I used it again at a later date, it just uploaded the new pictures. There were no duplicates to deal with. I was also able to use this device on my home computer and added those photos on as well. And because this system is so easy to use, I know I will be more motivated to actually use it!
Now I have all my pictures in one safe place. Talk about piece of mind!
So, if you want a quick and easy way to save your precious memories and free up your hard disk space at the same time, check out Picture Keeper! They are available in 4GB, 8GB, and their popular 16GB sizes. And for a limited time, Picture Keeper is offering everyone a 10% discount on your order. Just use the code Blogger10 when checking out.
Coming Soon: Developers at Picture Keeper are working on an external hard drive version, which would be able to hold 100 to 300+GB. How cool is that?

8GB and I’d really love this!
Well, I already knew this, but I need the “more options” since my pictures are over 30GB and counting. Yikes! I do have most of them on Cd’s but just recently discovered that on CD (of course of my son’s first birthday) was horribly scratched and I couldn’t get all the pictures off it. This was after transferring computers so some of them are lost for good.

I would need the 8 gb model for my laptop, and a 64+ Gb model for my desktop omputer - what can I say, I’m a shutterbug and I passed the habit down to both of my kids. Plus I work for an environmental protection group, a MinPin rescue group, and two other volunteer jobs too. Then you add all my family tree stuff and my jewelry stuff and the MySpace photos my kids have uploaded - it’s such a mess.

I definitely need the 8gb, but I really want the picture keeper for my mom. She has a lot of digital photos (she bought her first digital camera about 12 years ago, and it used floppy disks), and she has no clue how to back up stuff on her computer. This device would make it so easy.
