I’m always looking for new ways to show my girls how special they are to me. That’s why I was more than happy to review Kiddo Kards.
From the site: “The Kiddo Kards idea and products were created with love by work-at-home mom, Temre. Recognizing that our kids grow up in a world that can sometimes be tough, Temre wished there was a way she could give her daughter a tangible yet very simple reminder of how loved she is. I was able to select which theme I’d like to review and of course I chose the “Once Upon My Time” set. This cute tin includes 30 cards that tell a fairytale and various choices so that your child can play an active role in deciding how things turn out. On the back of the story cards are engaging questions which you can discuss with your kids. What a great way to spend some quality time together!
I decided to put a card into Girlie Girls afterschool snack pack and let her decide along with her friends which path the story will take. Then when she gets home, we read the card together and talk about why they chose what they did. It’s become the highlight of her day and her friends love it, too! She can’t wait for school the next day so she can find out what happens next in the story. Hey, whatever works, right?

As my kids are getting older (1st & 5th grades), they are learning that sometimes not everyone is nice to them. For this reason I’d like the bad day busters pack. It would be nice to have a little something to brighten their world when they have a bad day! Great giveaway - thanks for offering!

The Snuggle Stories would be perfect for our family.
I really like My Little Box Of Sunshine. Kind words really do go a long way in making people happy (and are free!) and it’s best to start teaching this to children early in their lives. I know I myself have often had a bad mood lifted or a trying time made less difficult by a random compliment or cheery comment from another person - that’s what makes us human, our ability to help each other through words!
