I’m cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs! *I just couldn’t resist*
As most of you already know, I love cereal. All kinds of cereal. My friends and family tease me because the entire top shelf of my pantry is lined with various cereal boxes. I need variety, you know?
I’ve had the original Cocoa Puffs before and really liked the chocolate taste. However, Cocoa Puffs Combos combines chocolate and vanilla flavors for a more subtle taste. So. if you’re looking for a cereal that has a strong on chocolate, the original Cocoa Puffs is probably more for you.
The real test came when I served them to my girls. Guess what? They wanted seconds! I think that’s proof enough that Cocoa Puffs Combos by General Mills is a big hit in our family!
Nutritional information: Each 3/4 cup serving has 110 calories, 1.5 grams total fat, 0 grams saturated fat, 0 grams trans fat, 23 grams carbs, 1 gram dietary fiber, 11 grams sugar, 1 gram protein and a 10% or 25% spatter of many of the vitamins and minerals listed.

Grape nuts flakes for me and anything sugary for the kid at heart.

I love granola.
Truth be told, if I eat cold cereal…I usually eat JUNK. So I mostly eat whole-grain hot cereals (you know the type that take 10-20 minutes to cook) and then put a little pure maple syrup or raw local honey on it and a couple of tablespoons of ground flax seed for my Omegas and more fiber.
However, my 5 year old son loves Cocoa Puffs because they make chocolate milk. He does not care for the Cocoa Krispies much. He has been begging me to get this Chocolate & Vanilla combo. A couple of his siblings like Cocoa Puffs too, but he is their #1 fan.

I grew up eating peanut butter Captain Crunch. I used to have (actually they are still in the kitchen cabinet at my mom’s house) a set of plastic bowls with all of the characters on them.
I love Coco Puffs, Cheerios and Life Cereal.
I like Berry Rice Krispies, I bought a bunch at the Dollar Tree one time, I don’t think you can purchase them anymore which is sad, because I’m on my last box — Maybe I’ll have to replace it with Vanilla/Cocoa puffs!?
I have to be honest. I’m 29 and my favorite cereal is still Count Chocula.
My personal favorite of all times is Count Chocula. I haven’t had it in years, but as a kid, I loved it!
