National Geographic and Earth Day (Giveaway)
This giveaway is now closed. Thank you for your participation.
The winner is comment #6: Sandy.
With Earth Day approaching, we are all looking for ways to talk to our kids about the environment and engage them in activities that will foster a long-term appreciation for the world in which we live. To this end, National Geographic Kids Entertainment is excited to announce two new Earth Day-centric episodes of its popular children’s series “Mama Mirabelle’s Home Movies” and “Toot and Puddle.”
Tune in to “Mama Mirabelle” the weekend of April 18 for “Kings & Queens of the Savanna”: Bo, Karla, and Max are having a discussion about who the true king or queen of the savanna might be. Mama takes the kids on a nature walk to demonstrate that when it comes to important jobs, nearly every animal on the savanna is a king or a queen. Check Sprout and your local public television station for dates and times.
Then, on April 22, Noggin will air two new episodes of “Toot & Puddle”: In “Recycle Cycle,” Toot and Puddle rally the gang to clean up a pollution problem in Pocket Pond. In “Being Green,” Toot & Puddle visit Uncle Bertie in Scotland to attend his latest art show. In the process, the pig pals get an enjoyable lesson in living green.
I have advance screeners of both episodes for one lucky winner! To enter:
- Just mention in comments before midnight, April 25th why you’d like to win. That’s it!
