I’ve always loved Bette Midler.
Not because she’s a gifted comedian. Not because she’s a local girl who went to attended high school on Oahu. Not even because she was amazing in the most touching movie I’ve ever seen.
I love Bette Midler because the girl can sing.
Her new album, Jackpot! The Best of Bette, features 19 amazing songs in a variety of genres including her best sellers “Wings Beneath My Wings” & “From a Distance.” Alongside the familiar melodies on JACKPOT is “Something Your Heart Has Been Telling Me,” an unreleased demo Midler recorded in the summer of 1984 with renowned songwriters Robert Kraft and Barry Reynolds.
This compilation took me back to a time when my life was simple and the music was good. And I was thrilled that it included my all-time favorite Midler song - Baby Mine. I’m sure it will bring back a lot of wonderful memories for you, too.

My mom always tells me that “our” song is “Wind beneath my wings” because my mom tells me I am her hero. So I always boohoo over that song. We have been thru alot together so I will love that song to the day I die! This is a wonderful a cd! Thank you so much for the chance to win!
