We adopted. Took us 2 1/2 years to bring our daughter home. When we learned of her she was home within 8 days. Instant motherhood was the hardest thing ever. But her cuddles and smiles at mommy are the greatest gift I could ever ask for.

  21. Kellie

My favorite part is the way she looks at me! And the all consuming unconditional love I have for her! The kisses, hugs, laughs, new words, and everything in between! And i just taught my baby how to say “love you!” She’s still too young to know what it really means but it still makes me so happy to hear it!

  22. Kellie

first of all, this is such a great book. I had no intention of joining this giveaway but when I read that it’s a motherhood-related book, I didn’t think twice in entering for I would love to read and keep this book for my own.

favorite part of motherhood is when I hold my 10-month old baby boy to breastfeed. As he feeds from me, I gaze at him with loving eyes. The tender, overwhelming feeling I can feel for my baby leaves me with too much joy that most of the time, I cry. In silence, I pray that he grows well, healthy, God-fearing and safe. Like all mothers, I want the best for my boy.

I’m a newbie mom and it’s pure, utmost happiness and pride I have for my baby.

And when my boy looks up to me with wonder in his eyes (maybe wondering why I am crying), I can’t help but laugh with tears in my eyes.
