Fly Me To The Moon, The Ultimate 3D Adventure will hit the stores on Dec 2nd. However, we were lucky enough to receive an advance copy to review.
From the product: “Young housefly Nat is looking for adventure and hatches a plan to jet into outer space with his two best friends, I.Q. and Scooter. In their homemade space suits, they take a wild ride aboard Apollo 11 all the way to the moon. As their families watch at home, the three flies become the first insects ever to jouney into space . . . but this is no ordinary thrill ride. After a pontentially disastrous mechanical problem, these daredevil flies must save the day.”
Before we watched the movie, I read all the reviews that weren’t very impressed with it. However, we really liked it. If you just sit back and enjoy it for what it is - kids entertainment - you’ll find a lot of humor and positive messages. It came with 2 pairs of 3D glasses which the girls loved and you can also watch it in 2D if you prefer.
This 85 minute DVD will sell for $23.99 and includes the voices of Kelly Ripa, Adrienne Barbeau, Christopher Lloyd, Nicolette Sheridan, Tim Curry, and even an appearance by Buzz Aldrin.

I read a description of this, and was all excited — “Fly Me To The Moon” was a special song we danced to at my wedding, and I’ve requested this song every so often at parties, etc… But now I see the details here, my KIDS would be MUCH more impressed by ~this~ than what ~I~ had expected. Worth a shot!
