Ahhh . . . Christmas music. Love it!
My favorite Christmas CDs are always the ones where music legends sing the classic tunes. And Al Jareau Christmas is one of the best of them. His smooth voice puts an extra special something into my all-time favorite songs and really helps to put me into the holiday spirit. His latest Christmas CD includes 13 songs with a jazz edge that makes it pure Jarreau.

This fall the seven-time Grammy-winning vocalist released his first-ever Christmas album - his first album of newly recorded music since 2006’s sensational Givin’It Up with George Benson. Oh wow…I can’t pick just one favorite Christmas song, there are so many amazing ones! But one that I can listen to over and over again is Winter Wonderland - the Bing Crosby version of course. “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” is my favorite. It always makes me teary when I hear it because it was written during WWII and became such an “anthem” for the soldiers fighting the war in Europe, one of which was my Dad,who was a POW of the Germans.
