I’ve never been a big fan of The Princess Bride movie but my husband could watch it over and over again. That’s why he was so happy that we had the opportunity to review The Princess Bride game for PC.

Guess what? I found that you don’t have to be a fan of the movie to enjoy this game! I had so much fun playing that I almost forgot I was reviewing it. The thing that I liked the best is the collection of various games available, all which lead to the final episode of the story and finding happily ever after. Since each episode is so different from each other, it prevented me from getting bored and I was able to play for hours!
Battle of the Wits challenges you with questions on different difficulty levels and scores you according to correct answers and how fast you finished the questions. As You Wish deals with time management and handling various tasks as you help the lovers on their farm. Miracle Max is a seek and find game where even the most obvious objects are hidden from view. You will also visit his secret lab and help mix magical potions according to Max’s recipes. The Fire Swamp takes you on an adventure through the woods as Princess Buttercup and Westley work together to survive. In the end, you can use the items you’ve collected along the way and Storm the Castle by vanquishing the evil prince.

The movie is dripping nostalgia for me, since it was my youngest daughter’s favorite. Consequently we all know the script by heart and it is quoted all the time in our family. I’d love to win the game for her.

What could be better?
I first watched this movie at my cousin’s house when I was 11 and introduced it to my sister later when it was on TV at home. It’s a classic and I love to play any kind of games - board, computer, whatever - so I’d make a lot of use out of this game and so would my sister!
