Holiday Cheer Photo Contest

December 14, 2007

Photo Contest at writefromkaren.com

Write From Karen is holding a photo contest where the winner could receive a $25 MasterCard gift card! Who couldn’t use that this time of year? You have until 4pm CT today to get your entry posted.

Here’s mine:

This photo was taken last year on Christmas Day and I’m sure this year will look very similar. My daughters definitely had some holiday cheer that morning. And in case you were wondering, no, Santa is not this generous. Most of these gifts came from family and friends.

Stop by Write From Karen and check out all the entries then vote for your favorite one (me! me! me! please!).

Voting starts today at 5pm CT and ends on December 17th 8pm CT.

Oh Kailani–my kids probably would want to be adopted by you if they saw this! ! I’ve found over the years it is the simple toys, the building blocks, the crayons, that entice them over all the others. Go figure! xo

I want to come over and play!!

Kailani, you could open your own toy store! LOL This is a little girl’s HEAVEN! Look at all the fun, and cuddly, stuff to play with!

*groan* Times like this I really wish we’d had a girl! So many pretty things.

Thanks so much for playing! Voting has started so urge your readers to vote for you! Good luck and have fun!

my child is always bored too and she has tons of toys. So I’ve just started telling her to clean up her room when she’s bored. I tell her that I am not the entertainment committee and if she wants something to do she can clean her room. She hates it and yet still hasn’t decided to stop bugging me when she’s bored. hummm
oh and the room doesn’t get cleaned either.

Oh wow - my girls can’t see this. Just kidding! I think it’s great!

We “used” to look a lot like this but my oldest one asks for “big” things now and has had to understand cost over quantity. And with a third one on the way, we really are trying to put on the brakes a little.

Have a great day!

Good grief! That’s the most toys I’ve ever seen on a Christmas morning! I just cast my vote. Good luck.

I agree with Stacey….it’s the simple things that stand the test of time over the years. Too many toys makes it so kids don’t have to use their imaginations. They end up bored that way. This picture doesn’t scream holiday cheer to me. It screams holiday spoiled. :(

That is too cute!

I’m so not showing this photo to my 5-year-old! Santa is pretty frugal here and I don’t want her to catch on to that. Of course the gifts from aunts, uncles, and the grandparents make up for it! ;)

That’s a fabulous photo. Imagine all those great toys. A child’s dream come true.

I voted for you. Good luck on the contest.

Voted! I must be sure never to show my children what your kids got for Christmas . . . they would be so upset about their little Chanukah gifts.
