How do you usually celebrate on New Year’s Eve?
Now that we have children, it’s a pretty mellow celebration. We just go to my parents’ house for dinner. Then we pop fireworks in the front yard. The kids usually fall asleep by 10pm.
Soup
Name one thing unexpected that happened to you in 2006.
We brought home Baby Bug from the hospital on New Year’s Day 2006. She wasn’t due for another 2 weeks.
Salad
Where was your favorite place that you visited in 2006?
We didn’t get a chance to go anywhere since Baby Bug was still so young.
Main Course
What resolution is your top priority for 2007?
To be debt free. Judging from my Christmas shopping, it’s going to be an uphill battle!

I got debt free this year. It’s really good when you get your credit card bill and it has nothing on it!
Now I’m having to save for my May trip to Japan so I’m still broke though!

I wish we could do fireworks here, but they are against the city ordinances. But our NYEs are pretty mellow, too. And congrats on last year’s NY present!!
Happy 2007!

Great feast! Thanks for stopping by mine earlier
I loved your dessert, great choices. Our NY Eve celebrations are very mellow too, but you know - we haven’t done fireworks in years! The town we live in now doesn’t allow them and we used to go to my in-laws farm to shoot them, but that’s been years. Sort of wish we could, it sounds like a lot of fun!
Have a great weekend, and a very happy and blessed new year!
