This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to commentor #5: Sweetpeas!

With the holidays just around the corner, I have been busy making lists. Shopping lists, grocery lists, and let’s not forget the all important “how much is Christmas costing” list. One list I still have prominently displayed on my desk is my checklist for handmade gifts. Each year it seems I always find some personal gift that I want to make instead of buy. Whether it’s cookies for the neighbors, or a scrapbook for grandparents, you might have a similar list.

I really do enjoy making things myself. Creating is just plain fun (and a good stress reliever). One source of ideas for some great DIY projects is youcanmakethis.com. If you haven’t heard of this site before, now is a great time.

Right now they are offering Free Printable Holiday Gift Tags. If you are like me and haven’t started wrapping presents yet, this couldn’t have come at a better time.

As you are starting to finalize all your holiday plans, you might want to bookmark youcanmakethis.com’s new blog, where you can find posts about Christmas Traditions (how to hand out those yearly PJ’s) and fun Gift Giving Ideas. In fact, they have DIY Gift Giving Series with videos that are full of ideas…..all easily watched right from your computer.

While I’ve been visiting youcanmakethis.com for awhile now, I just found swakembroidery.com, another amazing site for those of us who like these DIY projects……and I’ll tell you they have some of the cutest Christmas appliques I’ve ever seen (love the reindeer).

I would love to win this because I believe all my daughter’s first dolls should be soft. Seems like most of the dolls in the stores today are made of plastic… hard, cold plastic. I want to give my little one something she can hug and cuddle.

Everything you stated made many sense. But, think about this, what if you included a little content? I’m talking about, I shouldn’t tell you the way to run your blog, but what happens if you added a little something to perhaps get peoples attention? As being a training video or perhaps a picture or two to get people interested in what youve got to mention. In my opinion, it would make your site come to life a little bit.
