We’ve always been a big fan of Selena Gomez ever since we first saw her on the Barney Show. She was so talented back then that we just knew she’d go far. Introducing the Wizards of Waverly Place CD.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This brand-new compilation features new tracks from and inspired by the hit Disney Channel series including new music from Selena Gomez, the TV series theme song “Everything Is Not as It Seems,” and magic-themed hits covered by today’s hottest artists. Featuring special performances by Drew Seeley (High School Musical: The Concert), Aly and AJ, Meaghan Martin (Camp Rock), Mitchel Musso, new ‘it’ girl band KSM and more! Bonus content includes behind-the-scenes interviews with Selena Gomez plus her new music video.

This show which first aired in 2007 follow the Russo Family, a New York family that includes Alex (Selena Gomez), her brothers and parents. The three kids are wizards, able to perform amazing feats of magic, though they aren’t supposed to do so without parental permission. Of course, that usually doesn’t stop Alex.

MY REVIEW

We had the opportunity to review the Wizards of Waverly Place soundtrack and loved it! The songs were upbeat, catchy, and made you want to get up and dance. Girlie Girl now plays this CD over and over again and knows the words to almost every song. As for me, I really enjoyed “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” because it brought back memories of the original version by The Police. I’m just so glad it’s a soundtrack that parents can enjoy listening to with their kids. Finally, no more fighting over what’s being played on car rides!
