I’ve always had a fascination with jellyfish. These graceful creatures can mesmerize me with their beautiful movements yet I know they can be very dangerous up close and personal. That’s why I prefer to admire them from behind the wall of a glass tank.

I recently had the opportunity to review the Jellyfish Lampquarium by Wild Creations, and even though the jellyfish were not real, they were still beautiful in movement.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
wild creation tank
These unique jellyfish have been specially designed to move in an incredible life-like way through the water, gliding slowly then suddenly darting. The jellyfish dance under the five inter-changing colored lights. Magical to watch with none of the hassle of a live aquarium.

OUR REVIEW

Now this is the kind of aquarium that I like . . . no maintenance what so ever. You just fill the tank with water, add the silicon jellyfish, plug it in, and turn it on. That’s it. The set-up took only a couple of minutes but I sat there watching the tank for almost half an hour.

I couldn’t believe how life-like these silicon jellyfish were. And believe me, I know. I’ve spent many afternoons at the Waikiki Aquarium just sitting in front of the Jellyfish display and watching these amazing creatures swim around the tank. I also like the different colored lights that change every few seconds. It really adds to the overall feeling and highlights each tentacle’s movement.

In fact, they’re so real looking that my kids think there are live jellyfish in there! I put the tank by their bedside and when I went in to wake them up from school, Kacie was lying there wide awake just staring at the aquarium. She said she’s never seen anything so beautiful before.
