The Leapster Explorer Giveaway

This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to commentor #16: Cher!

LeapFrog has always been known for great educational games for kids. So when I heard that they were coming out with a brand new handheld device, Leapster Explorer, I wanted to know more. Unfortunately, it’s not being unveiled until June 7th and released to the public until July 15th but you can win one right here and it will be delivered to your door that very morning it goes into the stores. You can be one of the first families on your block to have one! How cool is that?

So what is the Leapster Explorer?

According to the popular technology blog Engadget, “it’s a Linux-based ARM-powered touchscreen computer that doubles as a gaming platform and e-book reader, integrated into both the company’s Learning Path parent monitoring system and LeapWorld virtual world. We hear tell it will have a content marketplace for app and video downloads… and there’s a digital camera and video accessories planned for the kid-friendly gadget’s future.

How exciting! I’m guessing it’s like an iTouch for kids!

WIN IT!

LeapFrog has generously donated a Leapster Explorer for onel very lucky winner! To enter:

  • Just mention in comments before midnight, May 31st what kind of application you’d like to see on the Leapster Explorer. That’s it!
  • A random winner will be selected and notified via email shortly thereafter.
  • The winner will then have 2 days to claim their prize.
  • Prize will be delivered on July 15th.

To earn extra entries, you may do one or all of the following. Each one counts as an extra ticket but you must leave a separate comment for each one.

This giveaway is open to US addresses. Good luck!

This post was written for LeapFrog who provided the item for review and giveaway. I was not compensated in any way except for the complimentary product. By entering this giveaway, you are acknowledging that you have read, understood, and agree to our disclosure policy.

I would really like it if they have a program on this platform that will enable my kids to draw, paint or write randomly (kind of like a word program) for kids.
