The Dove Men + Care Giveaway
This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to commentor #149: Marie!

When DH was single it was all about hanging out with the boys. Back then it was important to fit in and keep up with the latest trends. Now that he’s married and a father of 3 girls, his life has become more simplier and he feels very comfortable with his life and with himself. Who would have thought that one day he would give up his bachelor ways and find himself playing Polly Pockets or Littlest Pet Shop with his daughters.
However, just because he’s comfortable with his life doesn’t mean he’s always comfortable with his skin. He’s an avid surfer so taking care of his skin is very important to him. Therefore, when he finds something that works for him, he stick with it. And so far he’s really liking the Dove Men + Care product line.
Dove Men + Care is the brand’s first ever product line formulated specifically for men’s needs by providing the cleansing and refreshment that men want combined with Dove moisturizers to provide total skin comfort. It’s clinically proven to fight skin dryness with no irritation or tightness and it’s Dermatologist recommended.
During the Super Bowl, we had the opportunity to watch their brand new commerical called Manthem where they follow one man’s journey from birth to fatherhood. The touching ad depicts the expectations placed upon men when they are boys, the pressures they face as young adults and the societal forces they must contend with as husbands and parents. It shows that each man is different in what he considers to be “successful”.

He has been without a job for awhile now through no fault of his own, and instead of feeling sorry for himself he has been doing everything he can to make my life easier while we get through this tough time.

Shoveling like 2 feet of snow off the roof.
Even though he is not a fan of hospitals and doctors, and especially blood; he stayed by my side during the birth of our daughter.
When we had a blizzard a few weeks ago, my husband had to shovel the 25″ of snow we got…and he helped our neighbor too!

he supports me in whatever i do and treated me really good when i had surgery last year.
He always puts the family before himself and our needs before his.
I guess an unsung moment in my man’s life would be when he started his second business. He’d had a very unpleasant time with his partners in his first business, and was definitely deflated. He wanted to give up, but instead he gathered his strength and went back into the business world, started a new company and led it to success. Right now he’s on the verge of starting a third venture in a very scary economic climate, so all digits are crossed!
