Take Baby Anywhere Booster Seat Giveaway
This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to commentor #11: Serendipity is Sweet!
One of the things I worry about when eating out with the kids is if the restaurant will have clean high chairs available for Kaila (1.5). I’m so appalled at the condition of some of the high chairs that I’ve come across . . . dirty, broken, no restraining straps . . . I even saw one that had no tray yet could not slide under the table. How in the world is a child supposed to eat in that?
I’ve always liked the idea of portable booster seats but never really looked into it. Why drag along one more bulky thing with me? Then I found out about the Take Baby Anywhere Booster Seat ($39.99) by Polar Gear Baby.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
With safety always first in the minds of parents, the Go Anywhere Booster Seat is the only one on the market that complies with ASTM International standards. ASTM International, formerly known as American Society for Testing and Materials, is the globally recognized leader in the “development and delivery of international voluntary consensus standards.†According to their testing, a booster seat is “a juvenile chair, which is placed on an adult chair to elevate a child to standard dining table height. The booster seat is made for the purpose of containing a child, up to 5 years of age, and normally for the purposes of feeding or eating.â€
OUR REVIEW
We received a Take Baby Anywhere Booster Seat and I was impressed with how light it was! Weighing only 1.5 lbs, this booster seat was easy to take along everywhere we went. In fact, I just left it in my car and so I’d be ready for any unexpected dining outings.
I really liked how the straps and buckles kept the booster seat securely folded away and then used again when securing the seat to a chair. That way there are no extra parts to have to deal with.
There are 3 straps . . . 1 that goes around the back of the chair and 2 that goes around the bottom.
There is also a 5-point harness to keep younger babies safe. Since Kaila is a little older, we just used the lap restraints without attaching the shoulder ones.
I also liked the easy-to-wipe fabric because we all know how messy babies can get while eating. All I did was wipe it down with a baby wipe and it was ready for the next outing.
However, one of the best things about this booster seat is the way it looks. When it’s folded up it looks just like a small messenger bag. The brown outer color is the perfect match to almost any stroller or diaper bag. When it’s opened up, it shows a modern circular print in white, blue, and brown.
Thanks to the Take Baby Anywhere Booster Seat, I can now take Kaila to any dining establishment with the peace of mind in knowing that she’ll have a safe and clean eating environment. Plus, it makes her feel so grown up to be sitting in a chair like everyone else that she actually sits still longer. That in itself makes the product invaluable to us!
