Burning Man is the best!
Lot of great posts there, buut I think my favorite was “The Vader Project: Pop Art Meets Evild Dad.” I admit I am a Star Wars geek and some of those helmets are incredible!

Fashematics was pretty funny. I have to agree with the earlier commenter who said that the Burt coat was hilarious. Plus, I adore the name of your own NPR name. Sometimes we listen to NPR and the names drive my husband crazy. I love to torture him so.

Actually, there were lots of great posts!! I think since I’m such a sci-fi freak (ever since the campy 60′s LOL) I’d have to go with VADER PROJECT.
But, the BURNING MAN (waste man) was absolutely mind boggling… I can’t imagine how they managed to erect that in only six weeks! Talk about a powerful statement in visual form. We rarely ever buy anything new anymore (if possible), we have become real rummage sale fans because we believe things are better repurposed than tossed away. It never CEASES to amaze me the amount of crap just in ONE person’s garage. What a waste of resources and money!
