The Sundance Channel has a brand new blog out . . . SUNfiltered . . . specializing in great content across various topics such as film, music, culture, sexuality, design, the environment all from an indepedent view. Their bloggers cover a range of subjects that go beyond what you’ll see on our TV network. You’ll find their posts insightful, honest, fresh, and very entertaining.

To make navigation easier, SUNfiltered is broken down into five broad categories: Film, Music, Green, Culture and “Naked Love.” Here are a few recent posts to give you a taste of what SUNfiltered is all about:

    Actually, there were lots of great posts!! I think since I’m such a sci-fi freak (ever since the campy 60’s LOL) I’d have to go with VADER PROJECT.
    But, the BURNING MAN (waste man) was absolutely mind boggling… I can’t imagine how they managed to erect that in only six weeks! Talk about a powerful statement in visual form. We rarely ever buy anything new anymore (if possible), we have become real rummage sale fans because we believe things are better repurposed than tossed away. It never CEASES to amaze me the amount of crap just in ONE person’s garage. What a waste of resources and money!

    I liked Antony Gormley’s Waste Man (Burning Man). It was built over a period of six weeks in the summer of 2006 in Margate, UK where it was then gloriously burnt to crisp in 32 minutes – must have been amazing to watch!

    How cool, very cool! I did not know that this blog existed on the Sundance Channel’s website. I could spend hours on there reading, and reading, very hip and useful information. I am a music buff so under the Music Category I enjoy the Backstage at Iridium: Allan Holdsworth part 1 Interview. I was actually in NYC a few years ago and know exactly where this Jazz Club is. I found the interview very inspiring, interesting, compelling in some parts, and it’s all about Jazz and that is one of my favorite genres of music. Okay, now to go back there and read more!
