slow up your driving habits.
‘TANKS’ for these fabulous tips!
My favorite tip is … “your vehicle uses more gas to idle than it does to restart the engine”, I was always told the opposite.
I’m also going to share with my hubby the ‘don’t top off’ tip, as he is famous for adding a few more squirts after the auto shut off.
read the owners manual, there is a lot of good sense items in it ,that will help you
inflate tires fully.
tighten your gas cap
read the owners manual
Check your tires to make sure they are inflated properly.
One of the biggest no-no’s that people do is: ‘Don’t bother topping off when filling your car’s gas tank. The additional gas has the potential to leak out if overfilled.’ Very bad for the environment! and a waste of money. As soon as the gas pump clicks, its full. Great giveaway, thanks!

Avoid aggressive driving. Speeding, rapid acceleration, and hard braking can lower your gas mileage by 33%. =) Many people need to read that tip. LOL =)

Check and keep tires fully inflated.
When we plan a trip with the younger grandchildren we take along alot of hand held games and magnetic card games also. We also plan the route so that there would be more for them to see and watch.
Thanks for all the great contests!
Keeping your tires inflated to the correct pressure!! (I usually find someone to do it for me; for some reason it just confuses the heck out of me)

Always purchase your gas first thing in the morning. Do not let your tank go below half full and never ever get gas if you see the tanker delivering gas at the gas station….
