Staying Dry with Kidorable Giveaway
This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to commentor #169: Jessica!
February is considered the rainy month in Hawaii. Every year like clock work, the rain storms and cold fronts start heading our way and forces us to dust off the umbrellas and rain coats. I usually go with the generic ones I find at WalMart since we don’t really use them year-round. However, this year Kiana will be treated with her very own Kidorable Rain Coat & Umbrella.
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Kidorable delights both children and the adults who love them by transforming everyday, functional kids accessories into objects that excite their imaginations and enrich their lives at play. From rainwear to backpacks to knitwear and towels, Kidorable speaks to the precious spirit of childhood.
OUR REVIEW
When we had the opportunity to review a rain coat & umbrella from the Kidorable collection I had the hardest time picking just one. They have the most adorable designs and I went back and forth on which one to order. FINALLY, we decided on the Fairy design because it was so feminine and pretty.
When it arrived, I noticed how well everything was packed. The Fairy rain coat was folded nicely with a layer of tissue paper between each of the folds. This prevented the vinyl-type material from sticking to each other and helped to keep the rain coat’s great shape. I also liked that it came with it’s very own matching wooden hanger.
I’ve purchased many rain coats over the years so I know a high quality one when I see it. The material was thick and sewn extremely well. It has a polyester lining that’s so comfortable you almost forget you’re wearing a rain coat. The best part are all the beautiful details – the scalloped edges, the flower petal embellishments, the cute front pocket – all put together to form a practical yet gorgeous rain coat. As soon as Kiana saw it, she just had to try it on. It didn’t matter that it wasn’t raining outside. That didn’t stop her from putting it on and parading around the neighborhood showing it off to everyone.

And if I thought the rain coat was cute, you should have seen my face when I opened up the umbrella! I swear I will never buy a regular boring kids umbrella again! Our Fairy Umbrella matched the rain coat perfectly with it’s scalloped edges, fairy wings, and flower petals. The purple and green colors go perfectly together to form a very eye-catching design.

What I liked best about these umbrellas is that it hangs down on the sides to ensure your kids will stay dry in the rain. They’re also made on a smaller scale to help little hands hold on tight. It’s made from 100% nylon and dried really quick when I aired it out in the garage.
We loved our Kidorable Rain Coat & Umbrella. In fact, I think I may have to get a set for Kacie, too. Can you imagine the both of them running around in their rain gear? How adorable would that be?

making a choice is difficult.
I liked the fireman umbrella because my husband is a retired firefighter — AND… it might be one that a grandson would use without being embarrassed. well maybe.
2nd choice would be the frog, of course.
