I’m not sure what it is about SpongeBob that makes all the kids love him. Is it his gross humor? Is it all the yelling? Or do they just think he’s cool? I have to admit that I’ve never been his biggest fan but as long as my girls understand that this is just a cartoon and not something that should be imitated, I’m okay with them watching. It’s a good thing, too, since they love him.
DVD DESCRIPTION
SpongeBob SquarePants has gotten himself into quite a predicament. After being entrusted by Mr. Krabs to keep the Krabby Patty formula safe, SpongeBob is overcome with grief for losing the recipe. He then relies on the help of the most unlikely companion, Plankton, who wants the secret Krabby Patty recipe for himself. With the help of his friends, SpongeBob must use Plankton’s memory machine to retrace the happiest moments of his life to find the Krabby Patty formula in time for the Krusty Krab’s Eleventy Seventh anniversary.
Episodes:
- Truth or Square: On the Krusty Krab’s Eleventy Seventh anniversary, the entire crew finds themselves locked in the restaurant’s freezer! It’s going to be a really cold trip down memory lane. Featuring hilarious, never-before-seen flashbacks.
- Porous Pockets: SpongeBob finds himself in possession of a shiny ball that looks a lot like a giant pearl, for which he’s offered a small fortune, making him Bikini Bottom’s richest denizen.
- Krusty Krushers: With a million dollar prize at stake, Mr. Krabs turns SpongeBob and Patrick into competitive tag-team wrestlers.
- Choir Boys: Hearing Squidward is off to audition for the Bikini Bottom Men’s Choir, SpongeBob decided to join him. But only one of them can solo!
- The Card: SpongeBob really wants what Patrick’s got: the super rare platinum, hologram, animated Mermaidman and Barnacleboy talking card #54.
From the moment this DVD arrived, Kacie started begging me to play it for her. She’s a big fan of SpongeBob and knows exactly when his show airs in our time zone. Once the DVD started playing, I didn’t hear a peep from her except for when she was laughing hysterically. It was definitely a hit in our house!
