Slacker Radio is awesome!
Over the years I’ve found that I don’t listen to music like I used to. When I get in the car, occasionally I’ll listen to a music CD but I rarely turn the radio on. So, why did I want to review Slacker Radio? Because I thought my children and grand kids would like it. I honestly didn’t think it would be something I would be crazy about.
Guess what? I’m crazy about Slacker Radio. I can listen to the music that I like when and where I want to. Now days, my favorite music consists of classical, New Age and good old Rock & Roll. With Slacker, I can make my own radio stations with my favorite music or listen to the stations that are already organized by genre.
I’ve watched films, the news and video clips on my laptop but have never given much thought to the sound quality. I suppose I just never expected anything spectacular from the little laptop speakers. I was surprised (to say the least) with what Slacker Radio produces from those same little speakers. I’m very impressed!

I’ve used Slacker for a few months a LOVE it. My favorite channel is Alternative hits, although I like to create stations based on artists as well. It would be sweet to get the premium version.
My favorite station is Smooth Jazz
