I grew up in England and so am a big tea drinker – there is nothing better than a hot cup of tea and pastry or cake in hand. I have had the pleasure of tasting great pastries and cakes from Europe while in London and on my European vacations in France and Spain.  While, I have accustomed myself to the American pastries and cakes while living in the US I have noticed there is a totally different taste between the European and American fare. I had the pleasure of reviewing the Donsuemor cakes and I must say as soon as I took my first bite it took me instantly back to Paris, sitting in a cafe with my tea and cake in hand..

Donsuemor specializes also in French Almond Cake and Cute Cake. I love almond cake and this has to be the best almond cake out there. If you are not a fan of almond cake you will be after tasting. The cute cake is like a cupcake but in miniature form, while we are not accustomed to small portions over the pond these pack a punch with yumminess. I’d share our personal picture but I’m afraid these went so fast there was nothing to take after the kids found the box. My husband didn’t even get to taste any.. I just might have to head to the Donsuemor online store and ship some more our way.
