Secrets of the Mountain Giveaway

Every Saturday night is movie night at our house. Each week we take turns picking out a movie to watch a which isn’t as easy as it may seem. Why? Because it’s so hard to find quality family movies that everyone can enjoy.
Well, thanks to P&G and WalMart we had the opportunity to check out the movie trailer & behind the scenes footage of a brand new familiy movie entitled “Secrets of the Mountain” which is scheduled to air on April 16th, 2010 at 8/7c on NBC.
MOVIE DESCRIPTION
Somewhere between the demands of her career, her ex’s wedding and her kids’ busy schedules, Dana James is noticing her tight-knit family starting to unravel. An unexpected offer to purchase her family’s mountain property sets up a weekend road trip, which she hopes will bring her family back together. But when they arrive, they quickly learn that the mountain is much more than it seems. An ancient secret and a treacherous quest will test the family like never before. It’s an edge-of the-seat thriller that reminds us that when times are tough, families don’t run away from problems – they run back to each other.
OUR REVIEW
After viewing the trailer, I am so excited to watch the entire movie with my family. As a working Mom with 3 kids, I know how busy every day life can get. It’s so easy to say “Not now.” or “Later.” whenever the kids ask for something. However, this preview made me step back and take a look at what is really important – family.
I’m also looking forward to listening to the movie’s entire soundtrack. To me, the songs can really add to the overall viewing experience and Secrets of the Mountain has some great artists on board like Jordin Sparks, Brooke White, and Alisan & Ilsey.

We really like popcorn too, but I usually put out grapes or peeled tangerines or sliced apples just to change it up a bit.
Also we like giant sized dill pickles wrapped in a napkin, the kids suck on them and take little nibbles. They can last for quite some time and are a once in a while treat. Thanks!

favorite movie night snack is (ofcourse) popcorn but we also like to make brownies ahead of our movie night schedule and have those also. I have a 10 and 12 year old that make the best “from scratch” brownies!
