Riding Along with Scuttle Bug (Giveaway)

Kaila is a very active child who is constantly on the move. Sometimes it’s so hard to keep up with her let alone try to entertain her for an extended period of time. Well, I think she met her match with QuickSmart’s Scuttle Bug Ride-On.

It’s got three on the floor and produces lots of giggles. QuickSmart Scuttle Bug’s compact folding system makes it the perfect little tourist and the perfect toddler ride-on.

We recently received the Scuttle Bug (in red) to try out for ourselves. When I accepted the shipment I was very surprised at the size of the box. How in the world can a ride-on toy fit into this box? Oh no . . . maybe it’s completely disassembled into a hundred tiny pieces? However, when I took the ride-on out while armed with my handy dandy tools I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there was no assembly required.

The entire unit was folded into itself which allows for easy storage. And the fact that it only weighs — pounds makes the Scuttle Bug portable as well. We can conveniently throw it into the trunk of the car and take it everywhere we go. In fact, I took it with me when Kaila & I went to pick up the girls at Taekwondo class. She was so cute as her little legs pushed the Scuttle Bug around campus.

To use it, just turn it upside down and locate the lever on the rear wheels. Slide the lever down while lifting up the leg gear. Snap into place.

Once both rear wheels are out, the front wheel is released. Lift that leg gear up and turn the Scuttle Bug over. Push down on the seat and the front gear will snap into place. Make sure that the leg gear is flush with the steering handle. That’s it!

Because we have hard wood floors, Kaila had a blast riding it around the living room. The rubber wheels ensure that her ride is smooth, quiet, and comfortable. And best of all, these wheels do not leave any scratch marks on my floor. Kaila also likes that the handles are easy to maneuver back and forth which allowed her to zoom in any direction.

I have to say that I am very impressed with the Scuttle Bug by QuickSmart. It’s so small and compact yet provides big-sized fun!
