Peet’s Uzuri African Blend Coffee Giveaway
This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to commentor #170: Jennai. #134: Sarah C, #157: KimH, #30: Jennifer B, & #177: Pam S!
Do you drink coffee? If you do drink coffee, what do you think makes it a good cup of coffee?
Is it the flavor, the quality? If both of those are a yes, then you’ll enjoy waking up to a cup of Peet’s Uzuri African Blend.

Uzuri (pronounced 00-ZUR-ee, and meaning excellent and beautiful in Swahili) African Blend, is made of coffee beans grown in East Africa.
This blend is so good! These delicious coffee beans are bold and aromatic (seriously I wish computer screens had scratch and sniff enabled, when I opened the bag it was a heavenly scent!). The coffee has undertones of dark berry and goes down smooth. It is so smooth that I was drinking it after it had considerably cooled off and there was no bitter aftertaste.

But it’s not just the taste that’s good. Peet’s is working with the nonprofit TechnoServe, and together they have created as sustainable business model for thousands of farmers and communities in East Africa.
The coffee beans produced by the farmers for Peet’s, is earning them an estimated 30% more for their crop. For the coffee farmers living in East Africa, earning less than $2 per day, the training provided by Peet’s in coffee quality and the business and agronomy training from TechnoServe, means these farmers will be able to build a better future for their families.
This newest addition to Peet’s collection of signature blends is sold in 12 oz bags for about $9.99 in supermarkets across the country until March 31. However, it is a permanent addition at Peet’s coffeehouses and at Peets.com, their first new blend in eight years.
WIN IT!
Peet’s Coffee has generously donated a 12 oz. bag of coffee for (5) winners! To enter:
