Nowali Kids Moccasin Giveaway

Living in Hawaii, I haven’t seen too many kids wearing Moccasins. So when I heard about Nowali I had to do a little more research about this type of footwear. I thought they looked really cute and decided to give it a try. After all, Kiana just loves all kinds of shoes.

OUR REVIEW

When we received our Nowali Moccasins, the first thing I noticed were how bright the colors were. The reds and pinks looked so nice together and the design was feminine and fun! According to the literature, the fabric parts of the shoe are made with yarn and foxing materials that meet the Oko-Tex Standard 100 (an eco-standard) which ensures they contain no harmful dyes or substances. All I know is that they’re super soft and comfortable. When I stuck my hand inside the moccasin, it felt very cozy and warm. These will definitely keep a pair tiny feet warm. I really like that these mocassins are hand-stitched and put together very well. I can tell they’re sturdy and will stand up to many wearings.

The best part is that Kiana loves them! As soon as I put them on her, she said, “Mommy, these are so comfortable!” Then she ran upstairs to change into a “fancy” dress and even wanted me to fix her hair. Now she’s parading around the house and refuses to take them off. And because the top part of the shoe is like a sock, Kiana can put on and take off these shoes all by herself. It makes her feel like such a big girl!

What I did notice was that after many hours of Kiana running around the house with these moccasins on, the “socks” part stayed in place and didn’t end up around her ankles. It was tight enough around her legs without cutting off circulation. That just goes to show how well made they are.
