This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to commentor #2: Lori Z!

Whenever I think of desserts, I think of Cool Whip. So when I’m in the kitchen baking my family’s favorite cakes, pies, or my famous Chocolate Trifle, I always make sure I have some Cool Whip on hand. I love that it can be frozen and stored for a longer period of time and yet it’s quick to defrost whenever I need it. And with the holidays fast approaching, I know I’ll be baking more than ever.

Recently, I received an amazing gift basket filled with everything I need to make some wonderful desserts this holiday season courtesy of Kraft Foods and Cool Whip.

Of course, the first treat that came to mind was something chocolate. So I selected the Oreo cookie pie crust, instant Jell-O chocolate pudding, a tub of Cool Whip, holiday shaped mini marshmallows, and a handful of those red & white peppermint candies.

Here’s what I did:

Prepared the chocolate pudding filling by whisking (2) 3.9 oz. boxes with 2 cups of milk.

Mixed in half a tub of Cool Whip.

Place half the mixture into the pie crust and then put down a layer of holiday marshmallows. Chilled pie for (3) hours.

Spread the rest of the Cool Whip on top of the chilled pie. Sprinkled crushed peppermint candy on top.

Now that I satisfied my chocolate craving, I’m looking forward to making even more delicious desserts with recipes I found on the Cool Whip website. Check these out!
