The last time I had to move was about 10 years ago. I was so excited to be buying a brand new home but I dreaded packing up all our things and getting them to the new place safely. It’s so true that you don’t realize how much you accumulate over the years. Not to mention transferring all of your services to the new address.

Well, with Cablemovers.com the task just got a little easier.

Cablemovers acts acting as your one stop shop for connecting all your telecommunications and entertainment services, including digital TV, phone and high-speed Internet. Say good bye to time consuming searches comparing one service provider to another. With one visit to cablemover.com, you’ll be introduced to your local provider who will connect your TV, high-speed Internet and phone services at your new address – as soon as you arrive.

Boy, I wish I had knows about their services 10 years ago. I remember my husband and I being so caught up in getting the physical things moved that we totally forgot about the television service. Of course, when I called from the new address there was a 2 week wait. Luckily, DH and I can sit and talk for hours but I did miss seeing the finales of some of my favorite shows.

And if you stop by the Cablemovers website, you’ll find some very helpful tips from a moving experts, David Gregg . . .

And Libby Langdon.

I like the tip on “culling” Donate old paperback books and just keep the good looking hardcover ones, or ditch the funky candlestick with all the wax melted on it. This is going to help give you a fresh take on the shelving unit and rethink the items you already have.

I really like giving a new paint color. You always get one of those rooms
in a house you don’t really care for. This would help alot.

I like the new paint tip, in our last house it had the worst bathroom, picture swamp green-brown, but new paint made it great

I learned to use paint as a cheap way to change up a room. And to get a Contemporary look you should use black paint in a high gloss or semi gloss finish!
