Lysol Disinfecting Wipes & Spray Giveaway

When I step outside the door these days, I’m sneezing and immediately reaching for the tissues. It’s Spring in Texas…allergy season. While it’s easy to remember that I’m allergic to almost everything outside, I have to remind myself that I’m allergic to plenty of things inside the house too. Oh yea….I’m allergic to dust mites and mold. Looks like my little one is following in my footsteps too (Sigh)!
Fortunately there are a few things we can do to help…… and Lysol has reminded me of the following:
- Wrap Things Up – Put fabric covers over common dust mite hideouts such as pillows, mattresses and sofa cushions and wash bedding often.
- Clear the Air – Prevent pollen from entering your home by keeping windows and doors closed during peak allergy season. Air filters are also considered useful for helping clear the air of lingering allergens triggers.
- Wipe Down Surfaces – Be sure to frequently clean hard surfaces to get rid of allergens in your home. Use LYSOL Disinfecting Wipes to remove 90% of pollen particles and dust mite debris, in addition to killing 99.9% of illness-causing bacteria. Also use LYSOL Disinfectant Spray to kill the source of mold allergens on hard, non-porous surfaces.
- Avoid Mold Spores – To help reduce mold: use an air conditioner in humid climates and avoid the use of humidifiers in dry climates. Also, run the bathroom fan or open the window when showering.
- Reduce Pet Dander – Decrease your exposure to pet dander by keeping your pet out of your bedroom, since this is typically the room in which people spend a majority of their time.
If you are like me, you always have a can of LYSOL Disinfectant Spray in the cupboard. I regularly use it to spray the doorknobs, bathrooms faucets, and so much more. According to Lysol, the spray kills more than 99.9% of illness causing bacteria and viruses (including H1N1), the common cold and staph MRSA. But it’s nice to know that it works to control the growth of mold and mildew too.
I must admit that I had never used the LYSOL Disinfecting Wipes before. Now, I must say that I love the convenience……it comes in a canister and each pre-moisoned wipe is disposable. Exactly where I want the allergens and germs to go….in the trash. The wipes make cleaning the telephone a bit easier too (I always wondered if it was good to spray the phone….I don’t worry so much with a wipe). The wipes kill 99.9% of Influenza A, Staph, Salmonella, and E.Coli.

i would use it to take traveling.also when my kids have allergy problems

We just got a new puppy as my gift for mothers day! So sweet!!! But…guess who has to clean up after the new puppy?? yup…that’s right…busy mom of two and graduate student (AKA…ME)!

I want to win because I have a toddler who is in potty training and even as a girl, she has some target problems. Needless to say, the bathroom floor cleaned a lot.

I love to use disinfecting wipes in my boys’ bathroom – it gets messy so quickly and the wipes are a fast way to clean up!! I would love to win some!
