If I were still in school, LockerLookz would be on the top of my back-to-school shopping list. I mean, why settle for a boring locker when you can show off a little style and finesse?

LockerLookz are a mix-and-match collection of ready-made school locker interiors. Those metal hooks and door latches can’t get in the way of high fashion as LockerLookz wallpaper comes perforated for a custom fit – held in place by super-strong and cute magnet buttons.

We received a cute purple and white floral design wallpaper ($19.99), black shag rug ($8.99), and mirror ($6.99) to place in Kacie’s school locker. At first I didn’t realize that everything was to be held in place with button magnets but I guess that makes sense since she’ll have to give up her locker eventually.

For the wallpaper, one side had the printed design while the other side showed a grid to help you cut in straight lines. Definitely a big help since it seems like Kacie’s locker is smaller than the average school locker. I actually had to cut away a large portion of the wallpaper and even though the perforated sections did not fit her moldings, I was able to use the grid to cut a nice custom opening.

The wallpaper is held up by button magnets but I would have preferred something stronger. It was kind of hard to initially place the magnets since the wallpaper kept rolling up and popping them off. I even lost a few as they rolled under the locker.  However, once I got the wallpaper flat against the locker walls I was able to secure it in place. Although, I’m actually thinking that tape would have been a better option and I think I may go back and add some for extra security.

The mirror is a great added touch and was actually a big help in securing the wallpaper. Now that’s a strong magnet! Plus, every locker needs a mirror so you can make sure you don’t have leftover breakfast on your face before you head for class. I also really liked the shag rug because it help hide some of the mistakes I made when measuring the height of the locker.

It took about 15 minutes to get everything set-up and we thought that the finished product looked great! Kacie couldn’t wait to show it off to her friends and even I was so impressed that I’m thinking of getting a set for my locker at work. I think it’s a great way to help you start your day off with a little fun and happiness. And who couldn’t use that?

UPDATE: It looks like there was a shipment of magnets that were not working properly. I received a new set and these were much stronger and was able to hold the wallpaper up without any problems. Yay!
