My take: Looking for a new Christmas movie this year? Tired of the same old ones? Then Gotta Catch Santa Clause is for you. We’ve watched it a few times already and it’s a hoot! The story line is simple – a young boy Trevor needs to convince his friend Veronica that Santa Clause is real so he hatches a plan with a pair of super smart twins to catch Santa for her. At the same time, Santa Claus’ enemy LeFreeze is also after him (who knew Jolly Old Saint Nick had an enemy?!). Inevitably, the two pursuers collide. William Shatner does a fine job as Santa and at a length of 66 minutes, it’s tolerable for us adults too (besides, the kiddos won’t get the inside joke that Santa’s (as played by our “Captain Kirk”) Chief Engineer in this movie has a Scottish accent (hint – “beam me up Scotty!”) – clever! The songs are catchy and the CGI is fairly good too – all in all, Gotta Catch Santa Clause would be a nice solid addition to your Christmas movie line up.WIN IT!

I would love to win this to add to my children’s Christmas movie collection. Each weekend in December, we pop some popcorn and all watch Christmas movies together. The kids look forward to it every year.
