Goosie Cards Giveaway

I’ve always loved using flash cards as an educational tool. It’s a great way to link words and pictures together to help kids see the relation between the two. In the past, we’ve used flash cards made by various well-known companies but we’ve never seen personalized flash cards before. What a cool concept!

Goosie Cards are about having fun with your photos and using them to teach your kids about everything that is near and dear to their hearts. The best thing about Goosie Cards is that they are safe, spill-proof, tear-proof, quality flashcards that are made in the USA. Your flashcards will stand the test of time as your family grows and your children continue to develop their reading, language and communication skills.

We had the opportunity to review a 10-card Signature Collection Set ($27.99) from Goosie Cards and I couldn’t wait to start! First we had to register with Walgreens since they are the site that prints out the flash cards. Then all we needed to do is select our photos and upload them to our account.

On the bottom of the screen you’ll see your set of blank flash cards.

Just click on one of them and drag your photo onto it. You can select one of your own from your Walgreens album or use one of Goosie Cards 200 stock photos. You can also use their editing tool to help you zoom in, zoom out, rotate, adjust the brightness, add some special effects like black/white, and position your photo to ensure you get the perfect look you’re going for.

Next, add in your text. You’re able to have up to 5 lines as well as a title for your flashcard set. I think it’s a great idea to use the letters of the alphabet and add personal photos relating to that letter.

That’s it! Your flash card is done. You can even take it a step forward by adding extra features like borders, pink or blue backs, or punched hole. Personally, I liked the punched holes so that I can put a ring through the cards and keep them together as a set.

These cards measure 4.25″ x 7.5″ and is made from a laminated heavy card stock. I like that it’s pretty much indestructible because Kaila loves to eat the pages out of books. Plus, with the lamination I can just wipe it clean anytime she gets it dirty. However, the best part is that Kaila just loves seeing familiar faces and objects on her cards. I think this will be such a wonderful keepsake for her to look back on one day.

Thank you to Double Duty Divas for this review opportunity.

WIN IT!
