I’m especially excited to present this review/giveaway to you because it shares the beautiful sights and sounds of the Hawaiian Islands. Introducing the Lil’ Aloha Babies Waves ‘n Wonders DVD.

This 28 minute DVD by Local Girl Productions is the first in a series that shares with you the beautiful scenery of Hawaii. Accompanied by calming songs by local artists, this video will help teach your child the English and Hawaiian names for various ocean and marine life.
What we really liked about this DVD is the unique blend of animated and real footage. The descriptive words were spoken clearly and even the Hawaiian ones were easy to pronounce. But the best part was the music. Even when the kids weren’t around, I still played it for the soothing and upbeat songs. They even had one of my favorites – My Hawai’i by Na Leo.
It’s the perfect way to bring a little of the Hawaiian Islands into your home!

My kids love to learn new words and they would love to learn some Hawaiian! What a cute idea!
What a great idea! My sons are 2 and 5 so they are the perfect age for this video. I love the fact that it is interactive, and the fact that it teaches Hawaiian. We are close friends with a large family from Hawaii and the kids would have so much fun with it! Thank you for the great contest.
I like things that promote cultural awareness. My kids and I are doing a multicultural learning theme all summer — this would be great!

very neat, I’ve always wanted to go to Hawaii, this might stave off the wanderlust for a couple of years!
There are so many postitve things you can say about this ,but I love the fact that it teaches the children the english and hawian way to say it, this is great for both children and parents!! I just got to have this for my 2 babies!! This would be great!!

I like the peaceful approach toward teaching children new concepts and language, instead of an overstimulating hyperactive approach.
