Fairy_Wonderful_Tutu

Ever since the day I knew I would have a little girl, my mind has always envisioned afternoons of playing dress up and having tea parties.  And while my little girl loves to watch football and yell “Touchdown” alongside her Daddy, she is still very much a girly-girl.

I’ve just signed her up for ballet lessons…..how cute will that be! So, it was perfect timing when I had the opportunity to review a Tutu from Fairy Wonderful.

Doesn’t the name of the company sound just delightful? A visit to their site reveals that they feature not only traditional Tutus, but rather unique items as well…..Tutu Dresses, Flower Girl Tutu Dresses, Boutique Pettiskirts, and Fairy Wing Sets (just to name a few). I had never heard of a Flower Girl Tutu Dress before, but if I was planning a wedding (or attending a special event), this is one beautiful option. My favorite: the Brown Floral Printed Slip Dress.

Look at the Banana Berry Tutu pictured below that arrived on my doorstep.

Soft tones of lavender, pink, and yellow are combined to make a beautiful, feminine Tutu.  With this particular tutu, satin ribbons are added on each side……..a lovely touch.  Fairy Wonderful uses premium tulle  to get the extra soft look.  The elastic is thick and durable, while being completely covered with the premium tulle so you can’t see it.  According to Fairy Wonderful, they  jam pack their tutus with tulle and sew them for extra durability… no knots to come undone.

As soon as my little girl saw the Banana Berry Tutu, she had to put it on…….right over her pajamas.  She twirled and twirled (a 2-year old’s rendition of The Nutcracker followed).  It’s become a regular activity in our house……she puts the tutu on over her pajamas, watches The Nutcracker, and does her best ballet steps.  For some reason,  pj’s are always involved….but one day I caught her without pj’s on and quickly snapped a picture.

I wish I had one of these when I was a child! Many sizes are available, starting from newborn and up. Not just for little girls either……the Banana Berry tutu was available up to sizes for ages 6-9.

As they like to say at Fairy Wonderful…
“CAUTION: Giggles ,grins and extra twirling have been reported!!!
SPONTANEOUS dancing WILL occur!!!”

It’s True! It’s True!
