i like how it protects your computer against viruses.
The thing I find most useful isn’t explicitly mentioned under “Help me choose.” That is F-Secure’s reputation and reliability. Some of us used the free program, F-Prot, nearly 20 years ago. I started using it after McAfee failed to protect me from the “Stoned” virus – which, even then, was a known and rather innocuous threat, but it was MY first experience with a PC virus, and I felt let down.
F-Prot never let me down. I would LOVE to win a copy of this program (not to mention the other goodies in your giveaway). To ensure that this entry is eligible, I’ll mention one other feature I find useful (one that IS listed under “Help me choose”): DeepGuard 2.0

The feature I like most is that it blocks my kids from bad sites and keeps them protected. I always monitor them, but I cant stand over their shoulder 24/7 and its a scary world out there. They get exposed to so many things they should never have to, so this would give me peace of mind while my kids ” surf the web”.

Auto update is great. My other anti-virus also has autoupdate, but it causes all sorts of issues.

My husband would love to have a new tool for keeping the computer free of infection. I would love to have the Target gift card.
Including a firewall to protect your computer against hackers should become mandatory for all security systems – but currently it helps set systems like F-Secure apart from the others!

F-Secure products have received good reviews from numerous software magazines and computer publications.
I think the most useful feature ot F-Secure is its ability to actually protect you and remove malware. There are so many programs out there (cough cough Norton cough McAfee) that absolutely do NOTHING to remove a threat that has been detected on your computer (if they even detect it!!) The feature of F-Secure I’d really find useful is the real-time protection against spyware – I’ve had a heck of a time ridding my computer of the stuff, and my current anti-virus program isn’t the most effective at combatting it. There are so many features that I love about this, the parental controls will provide me with such great peace of mind when my children start using the computer, they are too young right now, my son is getting ready to start so it will come in so handy.
