I have a very thinly veiled obsession with kid’s shoes and I’ve gotten pretty picky about what makes the cut for daily wear. Of course they’ve got to be cute, but they also have to be easy to put on quickly, exceptionally comfortable, and non-slip on any surface. The first thing that struck us about the Elk Kids Flex Sole Shoes was that the rubberized sole was incredibly flexible and incredibly grippy. In fact, the sole was so non-slip that even at a 70 degree angle incline, the shoe still didn’t slip. This is especially important since our little one appears to be fearless when faced with an incline and doesn’t take into account weather conditions.
My daughter really loves how comfortable the Elk Kids Flex Sole Shoes are and would choose them every single day if I let her. And, to be honest, I’m tempted to put her in them myself every time we’re going out. For one, the purple Rosa mary janes go with just about everything in her closet, and two, they are easy to slip on in a hurry. But, possibly the best thing about them is that I can velcro down the mary jane strap much tighter than any other kid’s shoe I have ever seen, so the shoe stays put even on my daughter’s slim foot.
